Interns
James Gabriel Duncan jasdunca@ufl.eduI am a senior in Environmental Science at the School of Natural Resources and the Environment. My interest in the UF/IFAS Bioenergy Internship Program is in the microbial processes involved in biorefining, ethanol, and most of all biogas production. I believe that biogas and other bioenergy technologies hold the key to help us unlock a fossil fuel free future. |
Scott James Edmundson brntodie@ufl.eduI am interested in life/physical sciences and am currently majoring in Botany at the University of Florida. I am also interested in alternative energy research, plant-plant communication, mutualisms, agro technology, bioluminescence, medicinal plants, ethnobotany, music, reading, problem solving, and sustainability. I am a member of the Environmental Action Group of Alachua County, UF BEST Society, NORML UF, and the UF Honors Program. |
Jennifer Lyn Fallon jlfallon@ufl.edu I am a senior in the English Department of the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences. I became interested in the UF/IFAS Bioenergy Internship Program through a friend who was subscribed to the BEST list serve and I was intrigued by the biodiesel aspect. Even though I do not have a scientific background, I am learning a lot by working on something completely different than I am used to. |
Shunpei Iguchi Web Master shunpei@ufl.edu I am a senior in Environmental Science at the School of Natural Resources and the Environment. I became interested in the UF/IFAS Bioenergy Internship Program because my academic interest is sustainable development in Latin America and I thought bioenergy technology would be a possible answer for the energy aspect of sustainability. My knowledge of bioenergy was very limited before I started this internship but I am learning a lot about bioenergy through this program. |
Wei-Ting Liu suikorin@yahoo.com I am a senior in the College of Engineering, majoring in Environmental Engineering. I became interested in the UF/IFAS Bioenergy Internship Program because I want to learn more about converting waste into bioenergy. I believe that waste should be not be a problem, but become a solution. |
